What is a Cookie?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, smartphone, tablet, or other electronic device) to store data that can be retrieved by a website you visit. They serve a number of purposes, such as making your visit easier by recognizing you once you have logged in, remembering your preferences (such as displaying your preferred language or region settings), and allowing us to improve and identify performance issues on our website by providing information about the usage of our website (such as the number of visitors and user activity).

Types of Cookies by Duration

Session-based cookies

Last only while your browser is open and are automatically deleted when you close your browser.

Persistent cookies

Last until you or your browser delete them or until they expire. These cookies remain on your device for a set period of time specified in the cookie.

Does ZorgSocial Use Cookies?

Yes. ZorgSocial uses cookies and similar technologies like single-pixel gifs, web beacons, and tracking pixels. We use both session-based and persistent cookies. ZorgSocial sets and accesses our own cookies on the domains operated by us (including zorgsocial.com and its subdomains). We also leverage the services of a number of third-parties which may also set cookies when you are visiting our websites or using our Services.

Our use of cookies complies with applicable UAE data protection laws and regulations, including the Dubai Data Law (Dubai Law No. 26 of 2015) and UAE federal data protection requirements.

If you do not allow these cookies, you will experience less targeted advertising, but you will still see the same number of advertisements, they just may not be as relevant to your interests.

5. Social Media Cookies

These cookies are set by a range of social media services that we have added to our websites to enable you to share our content with your friends and networks. Social media platforms we may integrate with include (but are not limited to):

Managing Your Cookie Preferences

Cookie Preference Center

You can manage your cookie preferences and settings for our websites and our Services at any time by visiting our Cookie Preference Center at /cookie-preferences.

In the Cookie Preference Center, you can:

  • Enable or disable different categories of cookies (except essential cookies)
  • View detailed information about each cookie category
  • Update your preferences at any time
  • Withdraw consent for non-essential cookies

Browser Settings

Some people prefer not to allow cookies, which is why most browsers give you the ability to manage cookies to suit you. In some browsers you can set up rules to manage cookies on a site-by-site basis, giving you more fine-grained control over your privacy. What this means is that you can disallow cookies from all websites except those that you trust.

Browser manufacturers provide help pages relating to cookie management in their products. We have collected a short list of the main manufacturers' help pages for your convenience:

Mobile Device Settings

On your iPhone, iPad or Android device, you can change your device settings to control whether you see online interest-based ads:

iOS

Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, and toggle off "Allow Apps to Request to Track"

Android

Go to Settings > Privacy > Ads, and enable "Opt out of Ads Personalization"

Important Notice

If you limit the ability of websites and applications to set cookies, you may worsen your overall user experience and/or lose the ability to access sites, services or save customized settings. In particular, blocking essential cookies will likely prevent you from using our Services entirely.

Browser Signals

Do Not Track Signals

No. Our websites and Services do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals transmitted from web browsers. Our websites and Services do not collect personal information about your online activities over time and across third-party websites or online services in a way that would be affected by DNT signals. Therefore, we do not alter any of our data collection and use practices upon receipt of such a signal.

Global Privacy Control (GPC) Headers

No. The Global Privacy Control (GPC) is a proposed standard for handling requests to opt-out of sharing or processing of data at a more global browser level versus a site-by-site level. As of the date of this notice, the Sec-GPC header is currently an experimental and non-standard proposal that has not been widely adopted by standards organizations or major browser manufacturers.

ZorgSocial will continue to monitor developments in this area and may update its websites and Services to respond to such headers if and when the GPC specification is adopted by standards organizations such as the W3C and major browser manufacturers, or if required by applicable UAE law.

Children's Privacy

Our websites and Services are not intended for children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through cookies or any other means. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately at support@quantimedx.com and we will take appropriate steps to remove such information.

  • UAE Federal data protection regulations
  • Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) requirements

  • Other applicable UAE and emirate-level regulations

We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your information in accordance with UAE law and international best practices.
